Durham Intermediate School -

I am a local musician and performing art enthusiast that has grown up right here in Butte County. I am a teacher by passion, and a musician at heart. I have known that I wanted to be a teacher ever since I can remember. For the past 5 years I have been teaching in alternative high school education. I am very excited to be the new English teacher for both Durham High and Intermediate Schools. I have a B.A. in Social Science and I am currently working my way through grad school to obtain an M.A. in Education as well as a student services credential. I am looking forward to being a part of this beautiful and amazing community and for the opportunity to be the person I needed when I was in grade school.

Hello my name is Casey Diggle. I graduated Chico State this year with a degree in School Psychology. I enjoy fitness, spending time outdoors and being with my family. I am very excited to be a part of this team and this community.

I am a professional artist and designer that grew up right here in the North State. I taught at Butte College in the Art & Design Department for 12 years and am excited to continue my teaching journey here at Durham High. I am passionate about sharing my love for art and design with the Durham students and community.

I am joining the Durham Unified School District after teaching at the elementary, junior and senior high, as well as college level over the course of my 8-year teaching career. I hope to positively impact the Durham community and the lives of my students through fitness, health and faith. I am married to my husband Colin, I am a mother to two year old son Cassius and 3 month old daughter Kennedy.
